The costs of toddler care (27 months-4 years) depend on your personal situation. A distinction is made between working parents who are entitled to childcare allowance from the Tax Administration and non-working parents who are not entitled to childcare allowance. In this chart, we list them for you.
NoN-working parents
Non-working parents pay an income-related contribution for toddler care/VE. The amount of this contribution depends on your/your gross income.
In addition to an income-dependent contribution, a supplement of € 0.34 per hour applies for all hours a child attends toddler care/VE.
working parents
Working parents pay €11.05 per hour for toddler care/VE. You receive childcare allowance over the maximum hourly rate set by the government (€10.71). The amount of the childcare allowance depends on your/your income.
If the GGD has issued an indication, a supplement of € 0.34 applies over these extra VE hours (8 hours, 40 weeks). You do not receive childcare allowance over these hours.
